With centres in Sunderland, Washington and Darlington, the BIC is a bustling business community offering the ultimate location for businesses to locate and grow.
Experienced advisers help hundreds of new businesses to start up each year by providing free one-to-one business advice, mentoring and support, workshops and webinars.
Space to build a better business
Through its unique support packages and workspaces, the North East BIC has helped over 4,000 people set up businesses since its formation in 1994, creating 7,500 jobs and providing the flexible workspace required for over 1,000 businesses to innovate and grow. Today, the BIC is home to 328 businesses across its four centres in Sunderland, Darlington and Washington.
